The sixth edition of the Annual Ralph and Anina Walter Visiting Writer Series will feature national bestseller Dan Chaon. The annual event is presented by the Linda Berry Stein College of Fine Arts & Humanities.
Chaon is best known for novels such as “Among the Missing” and “You Remind Me of Me.” His bestselling novel “Ill Will” was recognized by the New York Times as one of the best books of 2017, and his most recent novel, "Sleepwalk," has been met with wide critical acclaim.
Chaon will be at Jacksonville University on Thursday, Feb. 9. During the day, he’ll host a writing workshop for students. That evening, Chaon will participate in a reading and Q&A session in Terry Concert Hall, starting at 7 p.m., and will sign books following the presentation. A reception with light refreshments and drinks will begin at 6 p.m.
