Carol-Ann Rademeyer is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing in the Keigwin School of Nursing. She was first educated in Durban, South Africa where she completed her education and training as a registered nurse and registered midwife. She worked for several years as a registered midwife in South Africa. Following her successful completion of the NCLEX-RN, she was able to immigrate to the United States with her husband and work as an Obstetric Nurse. She attended the Midwifery Institute at Philadelphia University where she completed her Master of Science degree in Midwifery. She is a board-certified nurse-midwife through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) and holds an autonomous practice license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse in Florida. She spent over 15 years working in full-scope midwifery care before joining Jacksonville University as a full-time member of the faculty. She also enjoys working part time in the Student Health Center addressing the gynecological needs of Jacksonville University’s students. She enjoys traveling and SCUBA diving with her husband and twin daughters.
