Which aspect of sports are you interested in?

Sports is intertwined with many aspects of society. This major allows you to focus on your interest in sports and pair it with a variety of topics within the social sciences, education or communication arts. In addition to 5 core courses (which you can start as early as your freshman year), you’ll take the remaining credits from a selection of 20 other courses across JU’s campus. The program also offers the opportunity to earn credit for an approved internship in the sports field.

Because the Sports in Society major requires only 39 credits, you’ll have the flexibility to double major or minor in other areas of interest.

39 total credits

from across Jacksonville University’s

four undergraduate colleges.

This interdisciplinary degree offers flexibility and a focus on your interest.
