Public Policy Programs and Events
Jacksonville University is a leading venue in Florida for public policy education, discussion, and debate. This includes conferences, forums, lectures, summits, debates, and a classroom speaker series for MPP students. Since 2013, the Institute has hosted over 90 public policy programs on the Jacksonville University campus, including 12 televised debates and forums.
Debates
In partnership with WJXT Channel 4, the Institute has hosted live televised debates in local, state, and federal elections.
Hesburgh Lectures
In partnership with the Notre Dame Club of Greater Jacksonville, the Institute hosts an annual lecture on relevant policy topics.
Guest Speakers & Lectures
The Institute is pleased to bring in several policy experts each year to speak on a wide variety of public policy issues.
Forums & Conferences
The Institute promotes public education and open discussion of policy issues by hosting events on topics like education, justice, and gun safety.
