Summer Training

Overview

MIDN in T-34NROTC summer training provides hands-on military experience to prepare Midshipmen for leadership in the Navy and Marine Corps. Each summer builds on the last, offering exposure to different warfare communities and operational training.

New Student Indoctrination

NSI is a physically demanding 2.5-week indoctrination course held at RTC Great Lakes, the Navy’s basic training site for enlisted Sailors. It provides standardized basic military instruction to Midshipman Candidates, helping them transition into the NROTC program and college life.
